ARB holds Ground Breaking Ceremony for their 4th factory

ARB holds Ground Breaking Ceremony for their 4th factory, expanding production base at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong, Thailand)

Recently ARB Thailand, the market leader in 4×4 off-road accessories, held a Ground Breaking Ceremony for its 4th factory at WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, to support the expansion of production base under the ARB brand which is growing rapidly in the global market.

This 4th factory will be constructed on an area of over 59,000 square metres. It is expected to be completed around December 2022 and will support the manufacture of products such as OEM bumper products for pick up car maker brands, aftermarket bumpers under the ARB brand including Summit Bar, Deluxe Bar, Sahara Bar, Alloy Bar, Under Vehicle Protection (UVP), ARB Recovery products, Canopy products and also include a modern and highly efficient powdercoat production line.

ARB Corporation has two manufacturing bases in the world: Melbourne in Australia and Rayong Province in Thailand. The factory in Thailand operates under the same high standard and technology as it’s Australian base. One of the reasons ARB originally established the manufacturing plant in Thailand is due to it being a hub worldwide for the manufacture of the pickup vehicle type. The location selected is also very convenient as a centre of product distribution worldwide to a range of countries. Thai craftsmen’s skills have also been recognised internationally to a high standard.

More recently, production orders have been increasing by 3-4 times globally with the recent increase in demand. At the present, the 1st factory and the 2nd factory which are the main production bases in Thailand have invested in world-class machinery which has the full area operating at full capacity. For this reason, ARB executives decided to build the 4th factory, which will be the largest production base yet of ARB Thailand. After the production is completed, all products will be delivered to the 3rd factory which is a global warehouse used to distribute to ARB Headquarters in Australia, as well as countries all around the world such as Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
