ARB commercial bull bars and winch bars are a cost effective alternative to deluxe bull bars, offering a comparable level of vehicle protection.

ARB’s Engineers give careful consideration to maintaining sufficient air flow to the vehicle’s radiator. Utilizing a split-pan system, ARB’s Bumper design ensures the radiator receives a massive amount of air flow and actually further increases the strength of the bumper.
The mounting system is a vital part of any ARB bull bar design. ARB’s mounting systems are specifically engineered to spread impact and winching loads evenly over the vehicle’s chassis. This ensures the bull bar functions properly in extreme conditions.

Whether it is to help with visibility during severe weather or to keep you in sight of other road users during the daytime, many of our bull bars have fog, driving, daytime running and indicator lights.
The SmartBar bracket kits for our winch compatible bull bars are all designed to easily handle winch strain. Depending on the model and requirement, our brackets will be certified for loads up to 12,000lbs.
Robust, durable and secure; StealthBars are supplied with an accessory bracket which can be used to mount driving lights, light bars and other vehicle accessories. Fastened into a recess in the bar with in-mould nutserts, the bracket provides a firm mounting location which prevents problems such as light movement, a vibrating beam pattern, premature bulb failure and eventual fatiguing of the lights.
We have incorporated an antenna or sand flag mount location into the centre of the StealthBar for a single antenna. Additional antenna mounts can be purchased separately and attached to the accessory bracket.
SmartBar bull bars have been tested and proven to be less likely to cause serious injury to pedestrians than other alternatives. This is due to the hollow, roto-moulded construction; which thanks to the durable, lightweight material also provides weight saving benefits compared with regular steel bull bars.
Every bumper starts its life as a flat sheet of steel. Individual components are cut to shape using ARB's state of the art, computer aided laser cutters which can cut to a tolerance of just 0.2mm with no heat distortion, resulting in superior surface finishes and accuracy.
Individual components are then folded to make up the sections of the bumper using a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machine which ensures maximum accuracy and consistency. Most bumpers utilise ARB's five fold design, with each fold providing additional strength.
ARB Bumpers are made with strong 2.6mm wall thickness tubing. The tube is cut to the desired length and bent with a CNC Eagle internal mandrel bender ensuring consistency, accuracy and an even wall thickness accross all sections.
Once folded, each section is welded utilizing a robot welder. Robot welders are used for straightforward, repetitive welding jobs that require deep penetration, speed and accuracy.
When individual components are complete, the bumper is assebled. All sections including pan, wing, uprights, outer frame and chassis brackets are placed in a jig and tack welded. This is followed by finish welding and grinding for strength and aesthetics. Jigs are assessed regularly to ensure accuracy.
To complete the manufacturing process all ARB bumpers are shot blasted, before entering a 5 stage chemical wash to prepare the surface for maximum powder adhesion. They're then powder coated and oven baked to ensure a rich and durable finish. As well as being an attractive and durable finish, powder coating provides an excellent base for painting if colour coding is required.
